These text pictures loosely describe the steps, as conversions of energy, involved in making and playing a mixtape. "Side one" is the first person making the tape; "side two" is the second person listening to it. The process starts with drawing from one person's memory, and finishes by creating new memories for the second person.

The images were printed from the same screen on a Gocco, a once-popular Japanese home printing machine, now obsoleted by computer printers and ready-made cards. Most are printed on Japanese paper. The images are all fundamentally the same, but the flaws in the mechanical process make each identifiably unique.

Signed/numbered edition of sixteen, each on a different paper.
